If you don’t love bacon, you either have no soul or are a vegetarian (and even then you probably still love it but just aren’t allowed to eat it). It is probably the only reason I could never be a full blown vegetarian. I want to make something clear though, if you have a health condition where you cannot eat foods with high sodium content I advise you to not read this article. It will only make you upset and craving for bacon. However if you are active, drink plenty of water and someone who can eat bacon I advise you to continue reading 🙂 . In the past year I changed up my diet to reflect a healthier lifestyle, but couldn’t give up bacon. How could I when my favorite meal of the day is breakfast? What is breakfast if there is no bacon? Since most of my diet is pretty low in carbohydrates and high in protein, I figured I can have my bacon and eat it too. I tried to include small portions of this delicious protein in most of my healthy recipes and it has given them the kick the needed while helping me shed some pounds and kick carbohydrate cravings.
