This conspiracy puts them all in a life or death trial against the ultimate Goliath.

Red Oaks

Red Oaks is an Amazon Original Series and free to stream all seasons if you have an amazon prime membership. Red Oaks is a coming-of-age comedy set in the 80’s. It centers around a college student enjoying the last hurrah before summer comes to an end. It has all the awkward comedy of teenage years and the cool edge of the 80’s.

Transparent is about the Pfefferman family and their dramatic lives together and individually. However, the main focus of the show pulls toward’s the family’s mother (who was their former father) as she transitions from male to female. The show centers around Moira’s struggle through transitioning and the family’s reaction, though often dramatic. The woman we all know too well from Seinfeld, and love, Julia Louis-Dreyfus is ‘The Veep’ in this HBO comedy series. Season 1 follows her whirlwind day-to-day existence as she puts out political fires, juggles various demands and defends the interests of the chief executive. This show is beyond hilarious as I binged watched all the episodes I could when I first found it. It will definately lighten the emotional load you might be feeling lately with the way U.S. politics have been going.

Eastbound & Down

Another HBO comedy series, Eastbound & Down, does not disappoint. The show stars Danny McBride as a once amazing and famous pitcher who finds himself out of baseball and reduced to teaching Phys Ed at the North Carolina school he once attended. Follow his crazy antics, foul mouth, and outrageous partying through this hilarious tale of sport and life.

Mr. Robot

Mr. Robot follows a young programmer Elliot, played by Rami Malek. Elliot works as an engineer by day and a hacker by night. He finds himself at a crossroads when the mysterious leader (Christian Slater) of an underground hacker group recruits him to destroy the corporation he is paid to protect. This show is so addicting and hard not to watch once you start. You’ve been warned.

Expedition Unknown

Expedition Unknown stars Josh Gates as the host with a degree in archaeology and a passion for exploration. I highly recommend this show for the travelers and wanderers out there. Follow along with Josh as he heads across the globe to investigate unsolved iconic stories.
