  1. Stop drinking soda, juice and sugary drinks. There is just so much extra sugar in them, it’s disgusting.
  2. No more artificial sweeteners. They do a bunch of crazy things to the body that I do not even want to go into! Apparently they are even worse than just plain sugar.
  3. Stop eating candy.
  4. Cut down on sugary foods. Pay attention to the nutritional information and the amount of sugar in your food. It is normally more than you think.
  5. No more energy drinks.
  6. Drink more water. You need 8 glasses of 8 ounces of water a day, totaling up to 64 ounces of water a day. If you work out and sweat a lot, you need more  than 64 ounces of water a day. If you drink coffee, drink an extra glass of water for every cup of coffee you drink.
  7. Start taking a multivitamin every day.
  8. An apple a day keeps the doctor away. Every apple has about 300% of your daily value of vitamin C. Talk about a ton of health benefits!
  9. Eat more vegetables.
  10. Get 8 – 10 hours of sleep every night.
  11. Take a power nap.
  12. Try meal prepping and meal planning at the beginning of the week. That way you have healthy food prepped, packed and ready to go for the work day!
  13. Stop smoking cigarettes.
  14. Eat as natural as you can. I try to eat only ‘real food’. That is food that comes from the earth; fruits, veggies, grains, nuts, beans, organic, free range meat. Sorry ya’ll, but I am NOT a vegetarian. I just can’t do it but maybe you can?
  15. Become a vegetarian, but a realistic one. Going full vegan is tougher than you might think.
  16. Go organic.
  17. Go green.
  18. Use shampoo and soap that do not contain any parabens. Studies have shown that some parabens can mimic the activity of the hormone estrogen in the body’s cells, and while estrogenic activity is associated with certain forms of breast cancer, parabens have been found present in breast tumors.
  19. Cut back on the alcoholic beverages.
  20. Don’t skip meals.
